Antique Benham & Froud Copper Mold Twisted Rope 19th Cent English Mould. For sale is a wonderful Antique English Benham & Froud Copper Mold with a twisted rope top and fluted sides. Aerial view resembles a flower and would look great hung on a wall. It is marked near the bottom with the Benham & Froud orb and cross mark along with the model number 398. The mold measures approximately 3-7/8" tall by 4-1/4" diameter, and is made from a substantial gauge of copper. The mold is in very nice condition with character from age and use; I note a few tiny dings, one shallow dent on the outer side of the rope top (last 2 pix), and slightly out of round as can be seen in photo 21. Interior tin lining has darkened from use. I believe the mold is circa 1880 period. Please enlarge the photos for details.
